Ghweifat Customs Center is the largest land centers and is approximately 375 km away from the capital, Abu Dhabi. It is linked with the capital by a highway standard road with full service facilities. Ghweifat - Customs Center provides the land boarder with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Ghweifat - Customs Center management works officially from 8.00 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. all weekdays, except the weekly holiday on Fridays and Saturdays and official holidays.

There are (23) clearance offices at Ghweifat - Customs Centre with branches within many cities of the UAE.  These offices are mainly concerned with completion of customs clearance processes for goods according to formal authorizations.
