Mezyed - Customs Center is the second largest center in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, following the Ghweifat - Customs Center. It lies 30km to the south west of Al Ain City adjacent to Haffit Center of the Sultanate of Oman.

Facilities annexed to main buildings:

• Tourist vehicle inspection shade section, including passenger baggage detectors.
• X-ray truck detectors.
• Truck inspection yard.

The Ghweifat - Customs Center management works officially from 8.00 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. all weekdays, except weekends on Fridays and Saturdays and official holidays

Clearance Office

There are (6) clearance offices at Mezyad Customs Centre with branches within many cities of the UAE.  These offices are mainly concerned with completion of customs clearance processes for goods according to formal authorizations. Customs authorized agents are empowered to act on behalf of the importer / exporter to handle transactions clearance at the Customs Department. The following comprises examples of existing agents:
